From 2001 to 2002, Olberg was director of energy and technology for the California Manufactures and Technology Association. Prior to that, she served as chief-of-staff to Assemblywoman Lynn Daucher from 2000 to 2001 and Assemblyman Keith Olberg [R. Keith Olberg, her husband] from 1995 to 2000. Her experience also includes five years as membership coordinator for the Chemical Industry Council of California. This appointment does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $118,000. Olberg is a Republican."
